I am getting an error on the new update. I know it has to do with my config or maps folder.. Not quite sure how to configure it.



Here is my TrinityCore.conf

RealmID = 1
DataDir = "."
LogsDir = ""
LoginDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;ascent;realmd"
WorldDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;ascent;world111"
CharacterDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;ascent;characters"

WorldServerPort = 8085
BindIP = "0.0.0.0"

Path for my "maps" folder is C:Legendary Repack/Nemesis Rpk 1.0V/maps
Path for my "dbc" folder is C:Legendary Repack/Nemesis Rpk 1.0V/dbc
I haven't done "vmaps" becuase it's not required right?

sorry i was being a noob i relised i could put the datatbase in the data folder of mysql.

ok i have it running now but i carnt get to charcter creation screen its on the realm connection loop and all im doing is trying to play it on the same pc am i doing something wrong? please help.

you only needed to post the question in one trin thread not all of them

Ok to make account
If you got the repack from pryd use the account creation page included
MOST repacks offer you an account creation page

If not
you will have to look at your commands in trin console
type account create username password email
then type account set gmlevel name 1-3

But so there is a solution for this problem or this repack is a broke/fake repack?

Nope Repack is real
This repack is not one of the ones for people just getting started because it takes some effort in you part

And you data file?
Um did you ever install my sql?
If you didnt
You dont have a Data file

If you did No way of knowing
Each set up is different
We dont even know what os your running
So it is impossable to say where it is
you should have paid attention to where your database install directory went when you set up my sql

If you never installed mysql
Ill say it again You aint got no Data directory

If you did and run XP
and didnt change anything on install
look in mycomputer\(rootdrive)\ Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.x
X being 0 1 so forth
And if your running the beta mysql I would suggest uninstalling it and going to 5.1 Trinity doesnt really like the Beta


If your running winblows vista (Aka microsoft virus)

Go to Trinitys site
3.2.0 - 3.2.2 is not supported by trinity
Why ruin a nice repack?
