I'm wondering if it would be possible to add onto this program.
Considering it uses .commands, maybe possible to allow this
to search through sounds, cinemas, movies in the same fashion?

You can, but there's no way to know when a sound has finished playing or how long it is.

Although, 98% of sounds in the client are short, under 8 seconds. Making it have a 10 second interval would work for the most part, and even on the longer sounds, you would get an idea of what it is.

Probably, but frankly i'm not willing to sit and listen to every sound in WoW to find the longer ones to keep an updated table in the addon.

Though, reading back I just noticed all he's asking for is the ability to search, not a playlist which can be done. Though, i'd have to make an array with every sound path in the game, so then we're getting into the realm of inefficiency. I'll look into it after I finish making my TrinityCore ticket addon.

I could say the same about your addon or virtually any other addon. They're all designed to be "nice and shiny" ways of making your life easier.

Did I say you did? No. All i'm saying, is that it's fairly obvious it's a "nice and shiny way to do X", because that describes almost every addon in existence.

Can you type .modify displayid yourself? Certainly!

Can you type commands by yourself and read chat? Certainly!

Can you use the auction house by keeping track of numbers yourself? Certainly!
