    Unfortunately that is how this program works you can either add a new code or you can replace the old contents file you placed in there with a fresh one.

    Yes, will try to implement another way to store the data, but this is how it's done for the moment.

    Thank you, and I will try to get into C++ later some day, though I'll stick to LUA for now.


    By the way, version 1.6 coming soon, allowing you to add REWARDS to the NPC you choose, and add REWARDS bind to a specific player, so only player X can see and retrieve the REWARD you have added via the GM EVENT TOOL. Also added support for completely removing data from the file instead of just disabling it.

    People, Version 1.6 will probably 'ship' either today or tomorrow. I have added the option to add Gold to the rewards (in addition to item(s)!) and you may now temporary or permanently add rewards via the in-game tool. Also, you may add rewards bound to a specific player, let's say:

    Player RONK has won the event, and the Eventmaster/GameMaster tells player RONK to go to the Rewards Exchanger and use code 'CODE-23dsdx'. The GM/EM can add the reward to the vendor, and only player RONK will be able to see/use it.

    Temporary means it will be on the vendor as long as the server is up. Permanently means it will be on the vendor forever (= it is saved).

    I hope to expand this feature soon with expiration dates, counts of how many the reward may be rewarded or more.

    I think this is very nice. But personally I would just like a normal vendor for this kind of stuff. Maybe you should add other things?

    "This kind of stuff" = Protect Items with a code. You can't do that with a normal vendor. What other things you had in mind?

    [NEWS] Released Version 1.6!

    [CHANGELOG VERSION 1.6]
    [+] Added a new Feature: You may now add Rewards-options to the Code Exchange NPC! You can do this via the GM-EventTool interface. You can choose between 'Player-Only' and 'Global' Rewards. Player-Only rewards are bound to a specific player, and won't be available to other players than the assigned player. Global rewards are rewards any player is able to see.
    Both Global and Player-Only rewards can be added Temporary or Permanent! This means you can add a reward forever (permanent) or until the server restarts (temporary).

    [+] Adding multiple rewards to a reward option is very easy. When prompted, simply fill in the itemID followed by a comma and the itemcount, Example: "ITEMID,ITEMCOUNT" and that's it!
    [+] You may now add Gold & Levels as a reward to the options!
    [+] Added a new Feature to the Access-Key manager: You may now completely remove keys from the datafile.
    [+] Changed some interface displays.
    [+] Modified the SQL. Be sure to execute the .SQL again!
    [+] Added a second DataFile to store data in (for the RewardsOptions). They are now located in 'scripts/EventData' folder.
