server for norwegian elite db is not a public server atm,
only open for the developers. and svn content is still
only a unfinished beta work. Keazin is updating the sources
from our svn every time we make an update,
so all progresses will be avaible at hes thread.

release of a final 6.0 is not known yet.

ok guys it seems that arcemu is ready for patch 3.0.8 the new wow update, so i wil compile later this night and continue my work on my repack for you

Nobody should be using the supplied "launcher.exe" file that WoW installs (and makes a shortcut for on desktop) to start their WoW client. Instead, everyone should be making a shortcut of their "WoW.exe" file.

The 'launcher' connects to the updates and will auto update WoW clients before you get a chance to p;lay. 'WoW.exe' does not connect to the updater....so you remain safely in the old patch

I'm somewhat amazed that the new client (3.0. will even connect at all with the 3.0.3 server....although that's a great way for blizzard to bugger up the service of a few private servers hmmm?? crafty!

I had the crash happen from a couple of my users so I changed everyones login by adding a '1'. I put an announcement in the forums reagrding the client update and instructed everyone with the incorrect client to reinstall. (we're currently working on a work around to the reinstall) When I've been contacted by the user saying they now have the correct version, or didnt upgrade, then I change their logon again. So far this system has prevented further server crashes...and a lot fewer "OMGwtfBBQ I cant get on your %$2# server" messages.

omf did i get blacked balled i cant down load the new fun server repack iv tred form 2 computers 2 ips and i get this Oops! This link appears broken.

Iv managed to compile on latest rev and now players can logon the server on 3.03. they can logon 3.08 but they get a client error after a short time.. so its not going to be long before our savior keazain has the Packs done

you need to stop deleting your last repack before you put up your next one, alot of us can't get here during that small time window when the new one is out. so you need to put a link to the last version of the repack up or something.

arcemu got shutdown? i went to there website and it says they got shutdown
