hi, there was probs with some ID for vendors after an update, so next release all is in db and core![]()
Hej laver du/I stadig Mangos databaser eller er de stadig for langt bagud? er der en option i ascent hvor man kan lave tilgængelige proffesions om til 10 istedet for 2?
i'll try it in english just in case your info isn't corret
Hi! do You still compile mangos database or are they still too mush behind? is there an option in ascent where i can change the max professions to 10 instead of 2?
alternativly, could you give me some pros and cons on the two emulators?
alternativs vil du ridse fordele/ulemper op for mig ved de to emulatore?
Best regards

Hi sputnik333, vi opdaterer mangos database når vi har udgivet vores X5 repack...
we are updating mangos database when we have released our X5 Repack...
Ascent er slet ikke til at køre pt. de er langt bagud og derfor er vi stoppet med at opdatere ascent indtil de er kommet iorden med deres core
Ascent is NOT a great core, Ascent is alot behind all wotlk and ascent core cant run this and that, thats the reason that we do not updating ascent before we have a core without core errors etc.
Best regards from Keazain

I just installed and ran the newest ArcEmu Core and there seems to be a problem when you create a character.
The server is looking for a world.characters table to write the character info to but since there isn't one present it allows you to press "accept" at the character screen but no characters appear in the character selection screen.
I have been using your files for about a month now and have gotten accustomed to them but I have yet to encounter this problem. Any ideas?
Great work by the way!
Edit: Found the issue - my own fault (no surprise) - I had changed the Character home database in world config from "Logon" (default) to "World"... Not sure why I did that. *lowers head in shame*

Hi Alias17
its a wrong logon database or some wrong updates there is done, you are the first on that says so and the last 6 cores have the same db added.
Try to emty your logon db and load a new one from your XPackTools dir insite your core![]()

Hi Keazain, love your work especially the arcemu cores. Patiently awaiting ur x5 repack
I just have one question, anyone feel free to answer. When i install a new core, which sql updates need i apply to the database? all those numbers are confusing and dont seem to fit any build. the updater.bat file in the utilities folders doesnt seem to work and i know for sure my database details are correct.
Or are the databases you supply fully updated?
Thanks![]()

the reason that all update files in in the core is for people who want to chose if they want to update or not, some have made a lot of db custom and wont have it destroyed by a update wich is parrently not nesesary...
All cores with my logon and world added, is always the last updated DB, so you dont have to update those files
And yes, i know that all those sql numbers confuse people, but always remember to just look at updates dir, in that dir you will find updates with numbers in and if you have ex: core rev. 2000 = then just update from sql file 200 and forward![]()
oh yes...
And the reason that most updates is getting errors, is usual because that the last core update already have this update added or db have this update already or this update properly dont have that ex. "mountnumber" and the reason is that this is not nesesary etc....
