[X3 Release] Keazain`s Latest Compiles and Converted NCDB & Logon DB ready for use!

since it has been released arcemu supporting 3.08 i cant execute it because the arcemu-world.exe crashes and it says that : an Access violation at 0x005756F7
any ideas i need help :S i can run my server in any rev at 3.08 :s

edit: nothing i have updated both logon and world with the sqls that are placed into keazains blizzlike core, any ideaS?

Heh Gys Keazain's probably snoozing, get much needed rest.

I'm glad he hasnt released the xpack until he gets the bugs out, the fun server I got running flawlessly on my public server.

But undocumented so far changes in arcemu config files.

You have to change "host" name of databse to "localhost" for it to work.

I figured this out a couple of hours ago, and don't ask me why it was not changed in the default config so it would work.

That should be worth a +Rep point to me from someone.

There might be an issue with ver 2046, sems the world db has an error in it.

ver 2042 does not have any issues and we are running publicly.

Using old config files.

Hope that helps anyone thats pulling there Hair out at moment.

Great fun release though ver 2042, no issues publicly no crashes.

Depends. For ArcEmu, everything in this thread available from Keazain is 3.0.8 now as far as I know.

As far as making your 3.0.3 databases work with 3.0.8... upgrading a database is basically the biggest pain in the ass when it comes to running a server. If you want to keep anything but install a fresh database, you have to start by exporting all the important SQL - stuff like character names and account names all the way down to little stuff like the playeritems table and social tables. I basically go through every table and decide whether I want to keep the data or not.

If you don't know what all the tables do for your emu, or if what I'm saying is not making sense, then you probably shouldn't even try doing this and just wipe your entire database every time you upgrade it, pissing off all your players and making your public server look bad.

Or, you could try learning how to manage your server, and study what all the tables do. Once you know what's actually in each table, it makes it very clear what you want to keep and what you can drop with a database update.

The bottom line is that Keazain can make this stuff as retard-friendly as possible, but eventually you guys gotta buckle down and LEARN what you're doing. No, you won't become an expert over night, but you don't get anywhere by posting sad faces in this thread and saying it's not working perfectly. Take this crap by the reins and figure it out until it all makes sense, or get out of the emu business and find something else to do. =P

I could not have said it better myself, if u want to play like the big boys, then u have to start doing what they do, and its not all fun, u have to learn how to export your accounts . etc, and not lose your clients.. etc..

I have said this before ...If it was that easy to run a wow server, evryone would be doing it, an WOW would be out of business, learn to read, research, and most important if you want help, give credit where credit is due by giving a rep point, and postive feedback for all the hard work these guys do _..PLAY IT FORWARD...AND YA KNOW WHAT I MEAN, KEAZAIN PROBABLY GOT ONLY 1 HR SLEEP LAST NIGHT, CAN U DO WHAT HE IS DOING????... .

Heh...There is no possible way I could show to Keazain how much I appreciate (And All of MMOwned!) his work, He has put in Endless hours to keep everything up to date and to release Awesome scripts and repacks! This thread has been here for 3 weeks, and it has almost 100 pages of replys!

Before you Complain! Think about this.

Keazain is just a normal person like you and me (Or maybe Superman in a costume)
Every Repack/Server has bugs, so don't complain every other post that a bug hasn't been fixed yet.

Thank you Keazain for the awesome work and devotion you have put into making the MMOwned Emulation zone into a better place!
