Won't this only work for one specific revision ?
Or.. change your emulator into a different revision.

Then perhaps all the fixes other people have done to their core won't apply with your flying mounts in azeroth.

I'd guess that was because the world.exe is from a different revision then your logonserver therfore it might mess things up ?
If you can get into your realmlist. Like see the servers then i'd say i was right.
