tried to login with admin/admin
cant login do u have to change ure account in the db or something?
im using the 3.0.2 9056 client

EDIT: nvm i got it working just change the field tbc to 1 in the account table in realmd db +Rep

it is all fine, but i am getting a rather percistant realm loop.
I have my realmlist in the DB set to my server DNS address. (i have also tried my IP, my router IP, and my router assigned IP) i am still getting realm looping, is there anything else i need to change?

Will this release work with hamachi? Tried changing the ip address in mysql and config files, but then .exes cannot connect to mysql database. ideas?

ok this is my 1st post so bare w\ me plz.This as u can read is a hybrid.If you install the TBC one, and only have TBC 3.0.2 installed(client (not the beta)you will have to go into your "realmd"data base and look in the table accounts by default there is only one account "admin".ok look for the section named "TBC" it is by default 2(if you don't have WOTLK beta installed it this must be changed),it needs to be changed to 1 if u ONLY have TBC 3.0.2 installed.this will allow you to log and play,but w\ out the beta installed you will see alot of boxes were WOTKL npc's was used (you can still interact w\ the boxes lol) and do not use the teleport guy to goto WOTLK places if u do not have WOTLK beta installed.

sorry if i wasnt supossed to post that link . look thru that fourm post and you'll find everything you need (DBC,MAPS,REPACK).

ok as for the MYsql problem i couldnt get the one in the repack to work so...i have Mysql installed for my other server.so i just went to my computer clicked manage went to services clicked Mysql and clicked stop. then i went to the place i extracted the repack to.went into server and draged the "data" folder to where i had installed Mysql (c:\programfiles\mysql\ ) and just dropped the "data"folder there.go back to my computer and trun mysql back on.now use your favorite DB editor and make a new connecton and logon useing the same logon and password and your other DB's.also back up and delete the data folder (BEFORE you move the new one in to it)that is there already(if you have any other DB's in there)i just compress my old db's into a data.rar file in the same folder. now copy your maps,DBC folder (the one in the link in the above forum)to where you extracted your REPACK (into the TBC folder) and now make sure you changed your realmlist to "127.0.0.1".

and yes this in mangos i have tried all the other repacks that say they are working 3.0.2 servers and always get stuck at the realm loop or get stuck at creating char. this one works.it does show alot of errors when loading but none are fatal.it a ncdb,mydb ect error you are seeing but no biggie dont think there is an updated 3.0.2 DB as of now so if the errors annoy you just minmize and wait for the beep :P lol.then log on.sorry for making this such a long post.:wave:

thanks Laylock for the advice, you solved one of my problems. Unfortunately I am having the same problem as skaterby47 in the infinite realm looping for client connection, after I specify an IP to connect to hamachi.

ok fixed my issues on my own. Just needed to go over my server settings in the config files and mysql. made sure server number, ports, and ip were all correct and no more looping!

a small thing but its a major inside =D

dual wield wont work

if u a druid and shape to something u cant get out of it

if u a rogue and stealth u cant get out either

probably anything containing these shape altering cause u to stuck in that form

anyone have a solution to what to do to fix this ?
