i tried logging in with admin/admin didnt work so i attempted to make another account lol

Yeah the Readme is wrong, There is already an admin account but I deleted mine so I dont remember the details or password.



To make a new admin account: just make a new account by going to the included webpage cPanel®

Steps:
1. Make new account

2. In the MaNGOS window you opened, type "setgm (yournewaccountname) 3"
You leave out the ( ) when typing account name, and there are 3 types of GM
1 low power
2 med power
3 omg power


Note: If your having problems when you make new accounts make sure your have the correct client selected.

If your using the beta client then select "Wrath of the Litch king"

If your using the retail up to date client then use "Burning Crusades".

you dont this is a simple 4 click server, no modding db and not adding sql , change the 3 .conf and just click and play...if your running this public i would change the pw on the mysql though, or not

I'm having trouble getting the server to start up for TBC. My problem is that when I open the control panel and start everything I receive errors with realmd and mangosd. When I start them up they give me the error "Could not connect to MySQL database at 127.0.0.1: Unknown database '(realmd/mangosd)' Cannot connect to database." I'm sure this is an easy fix I just don't know how to fix it. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The way i got around that i loaded the Sql with services and lounch the servers manualy

i get the problem when i start wow and shall login on the server with User:admin and pass :admin so when i shall choose realm it comes a txt where it says "logging into game server" then i get back to the realm selection how can i fix it?? btw i am running on 3.0.2 and build 9056

Open your Accounts table w/ your DB editor and change the value of colum TBC to 1, should clear it up.

I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but can somebody help me make my mangos server public. I have try to make it public but when i launch Logonserver and MaNGOS it say's: "Could not connect to MySQL database at 88.148.146.***: Host '**********' is not allowed to connect to this MySQL server

Cannot connect to world database 88.148.146.***;3306;root;acent;mangos"

This is a great repack. I am not sure if anyone else know's see's this however sometimes when I loot something it crashes my client. I began reading the error messages and noted it had something to do with a call being made to an ITEM in the DB. I went to the DB and searched the ITEM ID posted in the error message. I noticed that the item didn't have a name for it so I manually assigned a name to it. I then went through the DB whereever there was an ITEM with no name and put something in there like "missing item" or something like that so my players knew it was a glitch but didn't have their clients crash. This seemed to help with a lot of the client crashes I see when looting characters.

Hope this helps, again this is a very good repack.
