[Release] Moffeman's WotLK Beta Repack 8820

enter in the mangosd console and enter:

create your username and password ex: create danny 23432

if u wanna be a gm enter this :

setgm your username and the gm level 1 2 or 3 ex: setgm danny 3 (gm level 3 will allow u to make anything on the server)

ooo yes and u must allow the expansions... enter:

setbc or setexpansion username 1 for TBC 2 for WOTLK . put 2 EX:

setbc danny 2

or

setexpansion danny 2

I realise what you have to change in the mangos.confg and realmd.confg, but it never seems to work anyway.
The Mangos.exe only blinks past a second, while the realmd.exe tell me: "No vaild realms specified"
So can someone post their version of a functional mangos.confg and realmd.confg?

Would appreciate it, so +rep to anyone who'll post those :P

EDIT:
Got the realmd.exe to work by using navicat and enter the realmlist there, then i just gave the existing realm there a name.

Still cant get the mangos to work tho :S

when u start the server u start mysql , the realmd and the mangosd

when u start the mangosd an ms-dos window appears that is the console

Thanks mate, the mangos-wotlk-8820-release mangos.confg worked, well kinda. Ive come up with the conclusion that the files in navicat werent complete, they're basicly all empty. But thanks anyway man, you'll get you +rep

Just got some sort of error about character rep table er something and when I clicked start again...it started over! I don't understand why the DB he had in the 8788 repack would execute fine in SQLyog but this one gets errors at about 45% and stops!!?? Well anyways, I guess I won't be wasting any more time on this subject! It was probably going to be a kick @&& repack too! <key-sad face here>

I start mangos.exe and realmd.exe all works fine, im using moffemans 8788 repack conf. files because his 8820 ones cus cause mangos.exe to crash. Anyway, when i try logging in, it goes thourgh all the stages until it reaches connected, then it just stops, and stays connected forever. With ascent i know that this can often be due to client version or invalid DBC's, I know that my Wotlk client is 8820 tho, im new to mangos so i dont know what being stuck at connected often could mean.

When i execute the Sql in my Navicat it starts loading in a screen and when it done its says

Done with 4227648 succsesfully.

And then i can chose Start/stop

Shall i just press start untill it ends ?

It's only executing SQL statements as fast as your computer can handle them.

I believe you need to edit the realmlist in your database to reflect the IP address you are running the server from. Typically change it to 127.0.0.1
