    Cool , but I'm going to stick with this repack for now; I like how things are right now, and I don't want to upgrade to another client again. I just need to find out how to make the server validate 8820 so I can test if Old Stratholme will be reachable. Anyone know how to make it validate?

    bleh after 3 hours of stopping at 45% I can't figure out what's wrong... So I stole this for now, can't waste more time on restoring and stopping at the middle of it. Plus, no Old Stratholme cuz I've got 8820 so I guess I'll wait for a better one.
    Nice work anyway.

    If you use the 8788 core, Old Stratholme should be there. Haven't gotten into server yet since I can't validate; trying to figure out how to fix it. I'll tell you if I fix it.

    Ok if MySQL Front doesnt work, which right now it it almost as fast as SQL is and it can skip errors (about an hour estimated), then anyone know where i can find speed for Navicat Lite? Mabye that will get things going!

    EDIT: Ok now MySQL Front just got to about 60% no errors and now its getting ~10 errors a second and it just hit 63000 and still going

    Everyone has been using. My time inproved to 8 minutes 20 seconds(fully executed & with "UTF-8" selected/no errors) when using this!

    MySQL-Front - Downloads

    **When executing the DB choose "UTF-8" in the bottom drop down box

    **Navcat fails at executing this DB.

    Not to be nit picky, but merely a suggestion .... you could dramatically reduce the size of your database as well as the time needed to upload it, by deleting the unnecessary information from characters, accounts, guilds and groups folders before compiling it for the V4 repack.

    I executed with Navicat; though it was long, I managed to upload it all.

    Um i do not have UTF-8 as a choice, I have ON ERROR STOP and SHOW ERROR, is there a particular version you used?
    Also I am goin to file -> Import -> SQL file... is this how you execute a file because this is what I do.

    That's right, but if ur using MySQL Front from the link provided and clicking import sql file there's a drop down box right b4 u actually execute it where u can select from three choices... one of them is UTF-8

    I don't think it's possible! If ur using this set up with the 8788 core, u'll probably have to downgrade the client as well to reflect 8788.

    Ragnarok

    Have you tried editing your realmd.conf file.

    add this to the very bottom.

    MinBuild = 8788
    MaxBuild = 8820

    for me that allows 8788 people to connect to the 8820 server. so i dont see why it shouldnt work backwards aswell.
