How to set WotLK Accounts
Create normal accounts through Mangos and then execute this little SQL into your Database

Whats the purpose of the "Tools, ACID, ArenaPatch, updates, WOTLK, Scriptdev2" Folders? They are so many others SQL file, do we have to use it? IF we dont, then why they are there?

I runned the server but there was nothing, no portals, no stuff npc, not many mobs, it was nothing like the screen shots from the slide show.

Anyway ty for the upload!!!!!!!

ACID = A database Mangos is supported with.
Scriptdev2 = Scripters(like moon++ for Ascent)
updates = Are for when someone just wants to run updates and not remove their database
ArenaPatch = Updates for Arena's
tools = To remove exploited items or not-needed stuff.
Wotlk = Needs to be runned after you set up your Database.

Download this and then run the SQL in your database, it will set your accounts to WotLK, BUT make sure you always run this when you create a account in your Database.

Don't quite understand the /sigh

I think it is a legitimate question, when starting with NO database, does a person need to run ALL of the additional SQL files in the SQL folder.

If there were two or three files, then sure work it out, but there are 3,000+ files :wave:


In general the IDEA/CONCEPT of a Repack is to provide a complete and fully operational deathstar ... i mean server. The recipient does not have to worry about compiling anything...unzip, adjust the .conf files and run.

For size and convenience maps/vmaps/dbc are left for the user to extract.

So still good job on the Repack, but the SQL folder and it's files ARE confusing in the context of the pack.

This is how you get your wotlk account TBC and WOTLK enabled
Write in the mangosd console "setbc <your account name> 1(or 2 for wotlk)[try both]" that means it will enable TBC/wotlk on the account you have choosen.
(default "setbc administrator 1")
