I did it without the SPP manager, didn't use it and can't help you with how to use it. Can't know if you used it correctly or it's broken until I try it myself. Apologies support for it where you got it from
others asked the same question as you and I told them the same thing as I told you and it worked for them
maybe open the db with db manager and do it manually address and localaddress open bnetserver.conf with text editor and edit it manually
that way you can also verify if everything was set alright
if friends are on the same wi fi as you in the config of the client use the local address

No matter wether wired or wireless it should work the same for the server.
I can't help you with that manager but I did help others do it without.
So did it work opening the db and adding it to the tables and the bnetserver.conf loginrest.external and loginrest.internal

I don't think that's necessary just open the db with heidisql, sqleditor, navicat or whaterver you use and bnetserver.conf with text editor and then make the edits which I told you several posts ago, Hope it works for you just like others for legion and df
write back if then after you edited these settings if that did work

the issue is closed...the client need internet access for a split second to finish downloading some file, apparently. I had to do it with 4 PCs, I use the phone as a modem

For some reason when I try to make a new account with the firestorm Draenor repacks it creates successfully but I keep getting error 104 upon trying to login with the newly made account. I made sure with the account create to use an email and everything. Strangely the default admin account works username a@a but none of the other default accounts work either only the a@a one. Any ideas?

Hi
It must be something related to the account creation since a@a/a logs you in successfully-it means portal, blizzard entertainment folder is fine and you are using the right wow.exe
Strange indeed, you create it with email did you do it this way for example .account create b@b b and then loggin with b@b b, if a@a a logged you in it has to be somethng with creation or not typing the right info, here bnetaccount is not needed or linking normal account and bnetaccount just normal account.
if not work may I ask you to post a screenshot of the way you create an acc and try to log in

so I just tried creating another account using this line exactly: account create b@b b
I tried logging in again on the server and I still get error 104. The connection log says that it is able to connect to the authserver but that the account I tried to use is "unknown account". So for some reason even though the db updates with the account the client isn't able to detect that it exists.

but it worked with the a@a a
if it works with a@a a then setup is correct
unknown account could mean client trying to connect to the wrong server but if the account I made works then the portal in the config is localhost

this baffles me a@a a is one that I made and I logged into it so you say you logged into it too,
since one account works others should work too and the setup should be alright
when typing the command did you type infront of it . like .account create did it say account created afterwards
do you use the same wow.exe to login everytime wow-64-patched
you can dm a screenshot of the worldserver console after you used the .account create command
there was a broken bnetserver/authserver they are pretty much synomous, It said invalid account no matter what just as you experience. Someone posted a fix and I used it to login and it worked. I remember logging in succesffully before I packaged it
Well , you logging into my account should rule out that too
Are there multiple authservers in your directory maybe I left the older broken authserver and you are running that
Also I included multiple repacks but they are pretty much the same you can also try the others
This is how I remember it, everything worked before I packaged it not many people ask me about wod mostly legion and df

Ok so I was using the WodCore repack in the folder, but I switched to the Harbingers and that worked instantly making a new account so I guess the WodCore repack doesn't like me making a new account lol. I would assume there is really no difference between the repacks in this folder since they all use the same clientdata dbc files right?

I'm glad that it works, the thing it worked for one account but it doesnt work for any other even if you use the right command is the thing that got me until I remember the thing with the broken authserver but I also remember it was fixed everywhere it was also a long time ago
maybe I left the broken authserver in the wodcore. they are the same source. There are multiple sources on github on that Fstorm leak. Copies of copies of copies.
the fix was a authserver .exe and a auth db update but I don't remember maybe I lost it, maybe one day I will try reconnecting everything again maybe something slipped past me or forgot it alltogether,
cheers , mate
