i think they fixed this on wowscape i made it work yesterday and now i cant do it

I just managed to do it on wowscape. Make sure all the items are in the same bag. Then swap the item you want to dup with the stack, and back, and then move the stack on the wrap. (Need to confirm this later, might be cause of my old caches.)

They removed Wrapping Paper from the DB at Wowcrack, so this won't work anymore. Anyone know if another item can be used in the same was as the Wrapping Paper?

Im not sure what I'm doing wrong.. when i use the macro with the vendor window up it says "Item not found". Im on Ani-wow.. if someone can find out whats wrong tell me.

I did some test today, This cheat work fine on some server but...

Dont work for Ani-wow (cant stack over10), Wowscape(item removed), Wow-Toxic(cant stack over 10).

They removed Wrapping Paper from the DB at Wowcrack, so this won't work anymore. Anyone know if another item can be used in the same was as the Wrapping Paper?

Anything can be bought with the macro for free and resold for LOTS of money.

I learned that if you use the macro provided :

/script local function buy (n,q) for i=1,100 do if n==GetMerchantItemInfo(i) then BuyMerchantItem(i,q) end end end buy ("Red Ribboned Wrapping Paper",249);

Remove the 'Red Ribboned Wrapping Paper' part and replace it with an item of your choice, you can then buy stacks of a particular item in the quantity of 249. This makes the having to wrap up your item and then copy it like that obsolete.

So,

1. Make a macro with the code above.
2. Replace the Red Ribboned Wrapping paper (in the macro)with any item you wish.
3. Sell the item that came stacked in 249.

I just tested this out on Aniwow-FuryEU today; Jan 8/08.

Tried this on PreWoW and failed. rev2915.

The wrapped present won't return in to the stack of wrapping papers.

Tried this on Burning WoW and the macro just pops up and says the item is not found. I'm just writing it exactly as:

Replace the item with an item from the vendor, for example if you were buying Ice cold milk from the innkeeper make sure you replace the "Red Ribbon paper" in the macro to "Ice cold milk". Also make sure to have the shopping window up.
