No downloads are required, just this simple method will show who you're fighting against in the arena before it starts.
It works on cataclysm servers.

1) Enter a arena match after queuing as you normally would.
2) Once you have loaded in the arena, type /reload
3) Your screen should now be reloading the map...
4) Press CTRL+Spacebar (default keybinding to show scores) and you are able to see your opponents before match starts.
