The 65k spell power trick works with mage, lock, priest. The only thing is that you will have very little hp and mana if you do it.

1) Get exalted with Consortium (TBC faction)
2) Buy the exalted cloth head piece, can't link cuz wowhead is down. (it's the only cloth head piece in the game with a meta socket and no spell power
3) Do the bug with the head piece and a non-sp weapon
4) Have 65k spell power

Now, even with little hp and mana a mage/priest can absorb a lot of damage with shield and you can kill people with cheap spells like Ice Lance.

You can equip gears with spell power after you do the exploit, but once you go beyond the limit your spellpower will start from 0 again.

The reason none of you can get it to work is because the OP has 1 fundemental error in his post.

And before anyone says he's bluffing, it doesn't work, i can assure you 100% it does, just 1 mistake in the original post makes it not work.

Where is the mistake? I still do the exact same thing and I still get the SP.

Though it's noobish. The whole server got filled with people abusing this and you can't PvP at all. I asked for GMs to interfere or for admins to fix the bug already.

I deem this 110% working. You CANNOT have ANY Spellpower gear on. (Making it hard for caster classes).

When I posted it 1 week ago, the thread start search found nothing + there was nothing like this on the first page. I just saw that your thread was bumped 4 days ago, which means it is NOW on the first page, not 1 week ago.

I didn't thorougly search because I thought this only worked on VCN WoW, since I played a lot of servers and VCN was the only one where players bugged like this and thread start search didn't find anything about VCN.

That "nonsense" is how it was shown to me to do it ingame.

TL;DR - I found out about it myself, I tested it myself, I wrote everything myself and didn't know that it was on any other server.

Research more before you flame, would expect better from a contributor =[

The thread hasn't been on 2nd page at all. And even if it would've been there, that's no excuse to allow a repost. Neither does it matter who found it, it's still a repost.

confirmed no longer working, i had the gem removed from the vendor and banned over 50 ips. there's still a couple floating around, but they're ban on sight.
