[Couldn't exactly find where to put this] How to change IP to bypass IP ban

Ok, I just googled this to see what my options for changing my IP address were, because I can't live without internet for a day, so no option to reset it :O So NO, this is not my work, I don't take ANY credit for it.

I haven't tried these, but try them yourself, it may work.

Windows - Computer connected directly to the modem
    1. Get to a command prompt. (START, run, cmd).
    2. Type "ipconfig /release" (without the quotes, on the command line by itself).
    3. Type "ipconfig /renew" (without the quotes, on the command line by itself).

Windows (second option) - Computer connected directly to the modem
    1. Get to a command prompt. (START, run, cmd).
    2. Type "ipconfig /release" (without the quotes).
    3. Shut down computer.
    4. Turn off all ethernet hubs/switches.
    5. Turn off cable/DSL modem.
    6. Leave off overnight.
    7. Turn everything back on

    Network with Router

    1. Log into the router's admin console. (Often http://192.168.1.1/)
    2. Release the IP address. (Method varies by router manufacturer)
    3. Turn off router, ethernet hubs/switches, and the cable/DSL modem.
    4. Leave off overnight.
    5. Turn everything back on.

    The last1 that I tried didn't work, but I found a solution!
    1. Login to the router

    2. Go to a page where u can see the routers macaddres and copy those number and letters

    3. Go to a page where u can change the macaddres

    4. Paste in the old addres but change 1 letter or number.

    5. W8 20-40min u have a new IP!

U also maybe need to press renew in the routers CP
But rember the addres can only contain 0-9 and a-f
    hope I helped!
