[THEORY] Learn Any Spell (ie Dual Wield)

Hey all! Well, looking at all these "use any spell" threads, I have an idea.

Instead of making a regular item into an item that uses a spell, (WITH CE) how about making it into one of the books that teaches you a spell?

Then searching for the spell that it teaches, and changing THAT into what you want to learn? (DW Ret Pally anyone?)

I'm PRETTY sure that this won't work (because the books already have the use of teaching you a spell, maybe you can't change the spell it teaches you) so please don't flame if it doesn't. BUT, I just thought that this might be a good idea, and maybe could lead to more exploits? Please comment!

It does not. Before I tried it I did some research, and upon some research I found out that the book does not do a spell to teach you it. It "Teaches", it does not hook with a spell so no, the spell cannot be used to be learned. To see what I mean, look here.

I'm glad to tell you...it works for some spells that have"teach" effect.
I have the same theorie as yours. My rouge has spell like "fireball" "deathgate" "summon imp" etc.
you can also add any glyph as you want. Like my warrior has glyph of windfury...and I enchanted my berserker warrior with windfury weapon....lol
I'm also in a server with no dual talent spec, and I trained myself xD
you can go wowhead to search "train" "learn" and "teach". you will find a lot.

However, i couldn't find the "teach" spell code from trainers. If someone finded that, it will be awesome...imagine dw paladin? mage with holyshock? stealth warrior....lol

Yeah... although the books that "teach" classes their spells, if you use CE to change an item into something like Amani Hex Stick - Item - World of Warcraft and then change the use of that item into the use of the book, you can teach ANY class, ANY spell... that is taught by a book. Could do quite some cool things with this, actually. Might teach myself some new spells later :P

well when i played Eternion (before i got banned ) I had 450 JC...and there isn't Plans to make +27 haste gems...so i change the Amani hex stick spell to Quick Dragon's Eye - Spell - World of Warcraft (the process of making the gem..) and guess what...it asked for Dragons eye...i bought 20 of them...and made like 20 Quick dragons eye gems )))

You can have any spell you want...any ! even from talent....
but if you want smth from profession ! you have to have the ordered skill and reagent !

dual spec is bugged atm so u can learn any spell then logout and spech 2 another and get other spells but u`ll have 2 retalent every time u log hope i helped
and if any one knows how 2 keep a spec in after dual specing plz lemme know

To all who still want to learn Dual Wield.
Do the normal "use any skill you want thing" but change the spell number at the end to 30798.
Here again the way.

search: 20824 (Simple Grinder)
value to: 8432 (any item)
Delete all.
search new: 10723 (the item's effect)
value to: 30798 (learns you Dual Wield)

I am a little slow at this. So what is the process I need to do exaclty to get 27 haste gems. I am not going to go nuts with it. just going to add 3 to my neck saying I got it when i first joined witch was about 2 months ago. I just do not understand the process. Do i need a cheat engine? Where do i get the hexi stick at. Can someone please do a detailed list of what to do exactly.
