Stormstrike Macro

Recently, I've been playing on WoWLegacy. And alot of shamans have recently switched to enhancement only to use a /castsequence stormstrike macro that hits people 20-30 times... I've tried several different combinations.. and if anyone would like to share theirs it would be nice.

This looks interesting, ive seen something similar done with a warrior, ill see if i can find it and refurbish it.

I remember this bug waaaay back in TBC.. like 2.2 type of time or something. I have no idea how to replicate it though.. since it's been a long ass time.

If you still have the same WoW folder, you could go to your WTF folder and find the macro from the server you used it on.

Nah, that was too long ago, i've reinstalled WoW at least 3 times, and deleted my private server folder quite a few times as well. No chance i'll have that info :P

back in tbc it was something like

/cast throw
/stopcasting
/cast throw
/sopcasting
etc...

/cast Stormstrike
/stopcasting
/cast Stormstrike
/stopcasting...

Didn't work. If it's hitting more than once, there has to be some sort of server side bug involved. I don't think it has anything to do with /castsequence AFAIK...

And it's confirmed that you're macro doesn't work.. I've asked around and all anyone would tell me was it was a /castsequence...

u sure its a macro? maybe this is bug with shaman enchants.. it allows u hit like 20 times in one hit

No, this was a real bug a while back, you'd see shaman running around and then hitting you for like 50 Stormstrikes. But that was in patch 2.2 or something.

Wouldnt you have to some how bypass the 10 sec cd on stormstrike (which is server side)?

I'm wondering doesnt anybody have a combat log screenie?

btw one possibility is that maybe they arent using 50 stormstrikes but rather stormstriking w/ like 50 weapons.

Well, the SS bug is years old, so I don't remember, but i'm sure they didn't use more than the weapons they had equipped.
