It may look like it's worked, but try to use the item. You won't be able to. The server will still know its the same item as it was originally.

That's where the exploit is, the effect of taking a quest from an item is client sided, so is the enchanting, that's why this works.

It shouldn't work that's right, but it works, as the ''get any quest'' exploit does.

Thank you for your post. However I can't get this to work on Battlescape server. I did followed your instructions step by step, and I'm certain that I'm doing it right, but it just doesn't work. The enchanting animation shows when I try to enchant my armor, but the process bar doesn't show and it does not enchant. Could you check if it still works on Battlescape? Because I think they fixed it.

Yo found a way to get the enchants use non comsumables Short Staff - Item - World of Warcraft and it will give the desired enchant! ur game might crash but u still keep the enchant
