All you need to do is go into the account manager. log in on your banned account. then change the password. wait about 10 minutes then log onto wow. cya

On Scape servers, if your account is banned, you will receive a message that you're temporarily suspended (regardless of the password you put in). Tried this on one of my dummy accounts that got banned a while back, no avail. Sounds like a lucky one-time deal. Then again, Maxmel did it as a "temporary suspension" until late 2010. Maybe it wouldn't exactly apply.

WoWscape died? they have 10k+ players on as of 12/21/08 horrible death to have 10k+ online.
