Yeah, that's what I figured, The one thing that sets a Compile apart from a repack is the Database, Custom Content or not Oh well, I think wareagle is just busting chops tonight XD no offense.

The Idiot-Proof Guide To Setting Up Faeleryn's Basic Repack.

Download the file from Filebeam

Extract to 3_8_Stable

Now go into the folder, Select your map extractor
Ascent 3_8_Stable\Map Extractor
and put it in your c:\wow folder
Extract it
Run the Batch file.

While it's running, Set up your config files to your preferences

When the Batch file has completed, it will close by its self.
Take the Maps folder and put it in your Ascent folder

Connect to your MYSQL server

Make a new database called Ascent and Logon

Go into the NCDB folder
Ascent 3_8_Stable\sql\NCDB

Right click the NCDB batch file, Edit it to your MYSQL preferences
Run the Batch file and install NCDB

Once NCDB finishes
Go back to your MYSQL server and right click Logon and restore from sql dump

Here are the files you need to execute
Ascent 3_8_Stable\sql\2785_character_structure.sql
Ascent 3_8_Stable\sql\2785_logon_structure.sql
Ascent 3_8_Stable\sql\3461_character_structure.sql
Ascent 3_8_Stable\sql\logon_updates\3084_logon_accounts.sql

Create your account

Run the Logon Server
Run the World Server
