Recalling an account, Need Help

Heya mates!

Ok, here we go. I am seriously thinking about recalling my first wow account that I've sold it about 1 and a half years ago. When I've sold it I gave the new owner everything except the WoW CD-key, the addres, some photos of my ID/driver license/"whatevah ID does blizz need" and I also think that he is not aware that the account is not on my name (when I've created it I put in my fathers name).

Now lets say that this is the "not so good" point of view: I lost track of my main character because he moved it on another server and he also renamed it. The good thing is that I recently found my twink (on armory that is and it has the "character data unavabile" thing) so the account is still there (not banned, right?).

Ok, now lets take care of the problems
So, the account is currently registered to his email addres. The question is: Can I use the web form to contact blizz, giving them all the info I've got (acc name, first/last name, addres, wow/tbc cd-key, id photo, etc) and trying to mention in the end that my account was stolen or to simply ask them to change the email? And if I do so, does he (the guy I've sold my account to) recieve any confirmation on this email change/account stealing thing?

And I ask again, if I call blizz and tell them that i don't have access to the current email registered to my account, do they send any confirmation/informational email to the old account? I can't figure a way to verify this.

If you still have the CD Keys, you can to go the Account Name / Password Retrieval and then go to, Change Email Address. Put in your Account Name, email you want it to be, and if you have the CD Keys the last 6 digits. Email is changed to yours.

Then you go to Don't know Account Password... ETC.

Call blizzard say you quit WoW a year n a half ago, decided to start back up for Wrath of the pve monster, tell them your having issues logging in...they'll ask you for all the info... if they say they have a different email on file they be like i changed my email its been a year n a half =\ and get ur account back.

ye too bad theyll see that uve logged on like a day ago and also the change email thing only works if you know the other persons current registered email...

Funny thing, I did exactly the same thing some weeks ago.

Say someone stole it during your absence from WoW, and that you came back cause of WotLK eager to try out new content. Then just fill out the info, provide CD-key and a photo of your fathers ID (since the account is registered in his name right?), got my account back in the matter of 2 days.

F.y.i. there is a button in the webform where you change your account mail to another one you present in the mail.

Your going to have to call unless you know his e-mail. # is 1-949-955-1382 you'll need billing and account services. They dont ask for your main toons name. They ask for you Account name, SQ/A and first and last name registered to the account. Then they will reset the e-mail to whatever you tell them you want it to be. Just say your account got stolen (works for me everytime never any questions) or make some bs excuse up. After they reset the e-mail and password they will send you another e-mail saying how to protect your computer. Hope this helped.

Thanks for all the answers guys. Now a little update: I know his email only if he has resold the account to another person. I will try the webform thing first and only after then I will call blizz. Thanks again!

Hey I wana ask when Im recalling from the webform "Account Security/Compromise" where it says "Your email" do I need to enter my email or his email ? And if its his does he need to verify or someting ? and Will it work without photo ID ? Btw I called blizz and they said I need to go to the webform . Thanks +rep x2 if you help me !

I would assume that you put in your e-mail since your account has been compromised therefore you dont have access tio the e-mail that is currently attached to the account. That should answer one and 2. If it asks for photo id it most likely wont work without ID.
