    Faction portals

    Is there a way using LUA to make a portal that only horde can see?

    same for that only alliance can see?


    I want this for event areas (portal that only alliance can see means that only alliance can get there, same for horde)


    or if not that make it so that horde and alliance can see it but only one faction can take it (so a horde may be able to see the portal but he cant use it)

    If this isn't possible with LUA, is it possible with C++?

    lol and please don't just say "yes this is possible" or "no this isn't possible" I would like an explanation on how to do it.

    There is a way in C++... I think (It must be a way, because anything can be via C++)...

    Gameobject_spawns you can select which faction can use it (if i remember correctly)

    could you give an example please?

    I would assume the portal has to be spawned first?
    then i would go find it in the list, change the faction and reload database/server?

    The portal will have to be created, modify then you restart the server and carry on modifing the portal...
