<die2 msg="I read nearly all my config file, but not the whole thing!">
delete that from the bottom of ur ascent conf.

    <Listen Host = "psserver.servegame.com"
    change to <Listen Host = "127.0.0.1"

    for both config files
If you need me you have my skype, if you don't have my skype then you don't need me.

    Ascent.conf
    Remote Password = Ascent
You forgot to change it ^^
Also, change all Listen Host things to 127.0.0.1
If you want public, I recommend using 2dgreengiant's guide. It's really simple, and worked perfectly for me.
Edit : 2d you tried to steal my client? ^^

Hmmm, I changed those, it still won't run properly (voicechat runs fine by the way).

Do they need to be in a certain file?

Hmmm, I'm just going to redownload NCDB. If anyone could link me to a guide to install it I'd be greateful, this just seems to complicated to be right.

Edit: Bah, nevermind I'll just play on my server with no hope of repairing my Warglaives...or spawning new ones...or lotting -sigh-
