Zone / Map ID

I am trying to figure out all the map id's, does anyone have link to a utility that can give me the name / id of each zone (including ones not used in live)? I have tried using wowmapviewer but it does not give me all the hidden maps and such.

If you have a private server set up, you can run around and .gps all the places

Use a DBC tool to see the contents of WorldMapArea.dbc, which I believe contains the area IDs. (Not entirely sure, I don't do very much with teh dbc's.)

Thank you all for your quick response, WorldMapArea.dbc is a great start. I am still searching through the mpq files and it seems a lot of the stuff is broken up over different mpq.s i will update as soon as i have a viable list.

Ok so i used map.dbc from
C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Data\enUS\patch-enUS-2.MPQ

Here is the zone list in tsv format, There is a safe_locs.dbc which only has the "live" locations in it, that could be useful as well i suppose.
