[Question] About lua files...

Well i wonder if i need to download a specific file to make lua files...

I use any guide here i open text save files as .lua but still its a text file

Is that good or i need another program?

Any help?

I am just now learning, or trying to, create these myself. From what I gather, you dont need antyhing special - notepad works just fine.

Just make sure you restart your server after adding the script to the /scripts directory. Also, you need to make sure the ASCENT compile you run supports LUA's.

I think the newer revs actually have a flag in the config file now - just a heads up.

Here you go, go to "Save As" then type in the name for example "Elephant - Spells" and when saving it, save it as "Elephant - Spells.lua" and tada move it in your scripts folder and it should activate, read some guide how to activate lua on your server and edit teh core!
