    Auto Update of WoW

    Hello All,
I got a little question wich is probably to stupid to even ask..
But how could I turn off the Automatic update for my WoW?
So I can have it stay on 2.3.0 ?
I want to play like that without WoW Automaticly updating higher.
Please any1 can help me with this?
Ones that solves my problem +Rep!

    1) Use wow.exe, not the launcher.

    2) go to your realmlist, and put a 1 before "set patchlist us.version.worldofwarcraft.com"

And you cannot play on retail with version 2.3.0

    Edit: Beat you Gahme. :P

Just change your realmlist to the custom server's realmlist. If you mean play at 2.3.0 on retail servers its impossible.

no i want to play on my own private server.
    And that requires 2.3.0.
So i put ''set realmlist 127.0.0.1''
    So i make that: 1 set realmlist 127.0.0.1 ?

    No.

Remove OR put a 1 before set patchlist us.version.worldofwarcraft.com.

I do this because I want to switch between retail and private server, so I would just have to remove the 1.

Basically. Your realmlist.wtf should look like this:

    Code:
    set realmlist 127.0.0.1
    OR

    Code:
    1set realmlist us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
    1set patchlist us.version.worldofwarcraft.com

    set realmlist 127.0.0.1
And DON'T use the launcher, use WoW.exe.
