Dont need Maps? Um...

Ive just upgraded my new 'puter, anyway Ive just reinstalled Vista and downloaded the new Panex repack 5.3, and reinstalled WoW+BC+2.3 etc.

I start up Panex, and Ive been playing it and messing around for the past 2/3 hours or so, and I just remembered that I forgot to add the maps (when you get them all from ad.exe and extract them etc), I checked the folder, and the map folder is there, but it is empty?

So Ive been playing, but I didnt need to extract all the maps, should this be happening?

Its my own server on my own PC, and Im playing on the same machine if that's important.

dont know why that happened that happened to me also but for everything work properly i suggest you put the maps in the folder just in case :P

no all the maps does is let you discover the area. you dont need the maps if you dont want to.

Oh! lol, well thats good news. I have the 2.3.0 maps backed up anyway, but it freaked me out when I saw that I didnt have them!

lol, you do not even need the Maps, They are only there for Graveyards and the
Discover of Places to be Discovered

But - I have a working repack at this minute with no maps, discoveries and graveyards are all working. Any explanations to that ?
