    your mysql server must not be running, go to start->all programs->mysql->mysql server instance config wizard

    and run that

    When you configured it, at the end of the installation, did you leave "start the mysql server with windows" or something, checked? If so, just restart your comp. Otherwise, uninstall mysql, go where you installed it, and delete the data folder. ( if you got custom things in your server, dump your database first ) then reinstall mysql, with that thing checked in.

    I checked "install as windows service" nothing like 'start mysql server with windows" there also tried that insane didnt work still ill try your suggestion now cheesy

    I mean, when you INSTALLED mysql, at the end, before configuration, there is something like that. It's as default set to on.

    Ok, still not working, dunno what it is its weird mysql is running btw, thanks for help guys, ill +Rep you both (if I can) ill have too use built in mysql things in repacks for now :P

    I mean I can connect too SQLyog and access the database with both built in mysql and mysql, but just cannot start server

    im pretty sure i know whats wrong im having the same exact problem, you wouldnt happen to be running windows in 64 bit mode and installed mysql in 64 bit mode cause i did that and im gonna try running 32 bit mode cause thats what the emulator runs at and see if that fixes my problem
