How to edit World

hello, i have 2 little questions:

1. How to make a costum object? (someone has a nice tut?)
2. How to make new world pieces? (someone has a nice tut?)

1. do you mean Game object? if so look in the model editing section
2. look in the model editing section!!!!!!!!!! world piece?? i think you mean new island or bit of land

what i want to do, is make a new island (not to big) and add houses on it

but i dont know how to spawn houses (ascent)
