[Help please?][Connecting....Unable to connect]

After asking for help and trouble shooting for hours a day i have finaly got my server up...
only...no one can log in it just says connecting - unable to connect (me inclued) the exe.'s are running smooth *BUT* i just found this little ...eh hitch
could this be the problem?




also i just got a lynixis eithernet adapter so its sequirty is a bit more tight - anyone know howto disable lynixis secuirty to and from the router? i'v fowared the ports etc...bla bla bla =P

someone made a mistake when they compiled your ascent, get a different core

you could use any of the repacks out or compile ascent by yourself

Ok i tryed that - but it didnt work, i'v now tryed 3 differnt ones...anything on my end that could fix this (also.......is this the problem why people cant connect?)

make sure that <LogonServer RemotePassword = "change_me_logon"> in logonserver.conf and <LogonServer DisablePings = "0"
RemotePassword = "change_me_world"> in the ascent.conf are the same where it says change_me_logon and stuff, you can change them to whatever you want as long as they are the same in each config file

the authenticating its as insane said problem with the remote password nothing else... try to check that you have .net framework 3 and updated windows... and try my repack if you want

Ok assuming this works - now it looks fine but neither me nor anyone else can cannoect (back to square 1)
