Thanks for the replie Sirpro. I De-Activated my firewall. But still, dosn't work. So can you tell me wich ports i should open?? There are to many for me to just guess..

After I log in and select the realm to sign in with, it gets stuck at the character creation screen with the message, "Logging into Server". I did the port forwarding stuff, but I may have done it wrong. I'm connected to the internet through a router. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

unfortunatly its one of the few areas now i'm not that proficiant with, i coudlnt get it so people could connect with out going through hamachi

the firewall and the ports are the only things i really know about so far

also thou did you use navicat or sqlyog to set your realm id
ie. the ip address of your server

I used Navicat mySQL thing. For some reason, my computer just won't log into the server I created.

Alright i have a question, now it's been a while since i have done my own server, it was the ManGOS v1.12.1 the download/guide was called ManGOS for dummies if anyone remembers, well i still have that up and running and i would like to upgrade it to TBC or which ever is the highest patch that is out. Do i have to uninstall the server and do the whole thing over with a different ManGOS or is there something simple i can add to my private server folder (on a seperate HDD)?

EDIT: i would also like to add that i have all the SQL and realm and mangosDB all up and working, so if i can upgrade it to TBC just by adding files or something please let me know.

I tried opening the ports and enabling the TCP and UDP on my friends server, however, I still get the loop.

BTW: I have the navicat number under realmd/realmlist set to my hamachi. Would it work if I set it to 127.0.0.1? Also, not too good with computer set up and all, would opening ports on my router be the same thing as opening ports on my firewall?

Same.. i'm doing the way they guides on www.PortForward.com. However, i still get the same problen. So does anyone know what im doing wrong??. Im using a router called "D-LINK, DSL-504.". And this is how it looks like when i've done it..

Me and my friend have basically finished making our Mangos server. We have our own realmlist set up and everything and he can connect, but i cant since i dont have burning crusade.

Is there any specific command to have a WoW only account on the server?

in antrix yes but im not sure on mangos i think there might be u will need the same patch
