Did ya try using differnt core? im think its a core problem now since the db's usually fine. but i dunno it shouldnt be but maybe. did ya try getting a differnt core? GO on stephs corner and download the 3.5 stable

The problem is in fact that your Ascent and your databse are not communicating properly with eachother and that your char databse must undergo a Conversion along with your Logon tables.

Please post the following and i will fix your problem

1. Which Ascent rev?
2. Which Database
3. Repack?

Also. you might want to try downloading my database i release and simply import your accounts/character/playeritems/ to your new database.

I am using 3.5 ascent and working on 1006 and have no problems with character creation.

my database yet but I have everything that you'll need to get your database up & running this will support 2.3.2 & 2.3.3
Only problem is that for 2.3.3 you may need to update the dbc it works with some minor bugs

in this download you will find all your scripts & script_bin all the dll's & lua's that you'll need & they all work properly the maps & dbc are already added for the 2.3.2 patch for a U.S. server it also has the sql's from the only working citys & events that work with this databases tables That I tested & a full install guide with step by step info so you dont mess yourself up

this is just install into your sql set ascent configs & your done & ready to go other then downgrading the game to 2.3.2 patch
