DC problum om my surver. +rep to who can help.

Ok this is my problum.
Since the new patch, 2.3.3, I cant get into my surver.
When I try to log on, I can get into the cariter selection screen just fine. Then when I log in everything goes ok but then I see the world un-textured and
un-colored. Then i get DCed. I have been looking for somthing that will fix this but nothing will work. Can someone please help? I will +Rep the person that can help me fix my surver.

Does your Ascent.exe or Logonserver.exe say anything when this happens?

Also, change "<Client MinBuild = "6739"
MaxBuild = "6739">

to <Client MinBuild = "6739"
MaxBuild = "9999">

in your Logonserver.conf if you have not done that already.

It also might be that your database is not up to date. Unless you used a repack (needs to be compiled), try recompiling updates for fixes.

Anyways, your problem could be anywhere to... your DB and core do not work correctly together, your maps (or DBC files) are not meant for your version of WoW, or the core is corrupt!

My opinion is that if you ever plan on successfully running a server yourself, get VS or VC++ Express and compile your own core from the ascent SVN. Also, the gains of that is that you can do core scripting, enable LUA scripting (some repacks don't have it for some reason...), and keep your DB updated with the sql queries that come in the SVN.

And my Min and Max build is alrety 6739 and 9999 and it still happens.

I do use a repack. I useing AC Web Ultimate Repack and I am thinking it dose not work that good. I would (A) want a repack that works or (B) Make my own but it seems to complocated to compile my own.

If you want help with ACweb, you should really be posting on their forums for help.

To be honest, we've no idea what has gone wrong, and the best we can do is suggest that you update all your sources, but if you are using a repack, you have no idea how to do that.

Again, the best place to ask for help on that would be ACwebs site, not here.

How could you possible mess up ac-web repack.. i mean.. seriously..

extract > run > change realmlist > run wow > play

Yeah, Im coming round to your point of view xeneth, Ive been here less time than you, I guess it just takes longer to get sick of the same stupid questions.

That's why i dont have as much rep as most people, I love helping tons of people, but when it gets down to this, I just stop caring. Thats why most of, if not all of my rep is from contributing, and i actually like that better. Even when i did help people they barely repped. Slow and steady wins the race, I'll get contributor eventually *Sigh*
