This is why your Databases upload slowly, and the solution to it !

I've seen pretty good emulation people asking this question.
" Why do my databases upload so slow in navicat? "

( _______ means something would be written there )
Here is Why:
**********

Problem:
********

The query looks something like this

INSERT INTO _______
INSERT INTO _______
INSERT INTO _______

when every line has " INSERT INTO" , this takes up more space and gives more things to process for navicat.

Solution:
*******

INSERT INTO _____
_________
_________
_________
_________

This time your telling navicat to do the following query " INSERT INTO" to everything that's under. This also makes the file size smaller.

Steph's NCDB's have this problem, no offense though. I think this is called whn you upload the database then dump it. Navicat dumps the databases according to the settings you have. Getting databases from their SVN's won't give you any problems.

Actually, only my old databases have these problems, and I already knew about this, latruwski posted something about this last week - as such I now only use the tables version, with the batch file importer with my releases.

Short of that Id have to edit every dump, which is over 150meg, and Id rather not if I can do it via the tables.
