Its because the programs used to dump the SQL comment the code poorly which takes it longer to execute.

If you execute from seperate tables its less of a problem - for example my old dumps, and my new NCDB releases. The new releases are tables only, the old ones were one big dump. The newer tables take a lot less time.

    If you use my 988:

Filebeam - Free Fast File Hosting

All you do is import via the tool.bat batch file, and it takes a lot less time, you dont use Navicat.

I honestly didnt realise that dumping took so much longer, I rarely import from dumps, and of course when I use a new version of NCDB, I just use their batch file.

It only started happening recently, but Im too tired right now to try and think why it might have been.

Hopefully if people start releasing batch files and individual tables, it should speed the processes up for everyone.
