So what Exactly is this?
Well, what it is, it is an Invision Power Board Modification that I have created. It allows you to set up a posting bot that will post your servers voting ad, message, or url, after the first post of every thread! Its also handy for advertising solutions, the message accepts HTML and is completely customizable!

How do you install it?
The installation process is extremely easy! There is only one simple file edit to do, and the rest of the process is taken care of by the Ultimate Mod Installer.

What version of Invision Power Board is this for?
This is for invision power board version 2.2.X. It MAY work on Invision Power Board 2.3.X, however, this has not been tested. An official 2.3.X and later version will be coming soon, I made 2.2.X first because that is the version of IPB my own forums are using (my license ran out a while ago.. /cry)

How will I know when there is a new version?
Using the Universal Mod Installers Frontend, you can view the current version of this modification, and what the current release version is! It will notify you whenever you need to upgrade your modification.

Where do I get this 'Universal Mod Installer'?
If you do not already have Universal Mod Installer, or you have a version that is too old, you can always download the latest version! The direct download link of the latest "Universal Mod Installer" is contained in the Installation Readme.

What will future versions bring?
Future versions of this modification will bring more customizability, such as the option to choose what avatar the post bot will have, as well as the feature to choose whether or not the postbot is to post entire new threads or not at certain timed intervals.

What features does the bot have at the moment?
At this time, the bot currently has the following customizable features:
Bot Online - Allows you to say whether you want the bot to be active, or not active.

Bot Username - Choose what username the bot has.

Bot Title - Choose what usertitle the bot has.

Bots Ad - What HTML notice does the bot post ?

Group Permissions - What groups will see the voting notice ? Handy if you want it so that donators don't have to see the voting notices or something.

Forum Permissions - What forums will have the bot active in them ? You can choose numerous categories, forums, and subforums.

After What Post - Choose what post you want the bot to post after. Numerical form ,with a default of one. One would make the bot post right after the thread was created.

Nice! Any chance of a phpbb version ? Wouldnt you just have to edit a different file or is the code so much different with IPB ?

I believe that the code is quite a lot different, however, being an old phpbb user, I will check into it.
I will never make a vBulletin one though, the entire vBulletin setup is crap, awful coding.
