Hmm, how would I go about doing that? I believe my charectors are stored in folder called ascent_char but when I tried to copy them over it just gave me errors and the program shut down.

select the table you want to dump, right click on it, select the option that says dump something or other, follow the prompts.. or something like that

ok, maybe this will help, Im using a program called ecko tools v1.6, I can't seem to find any way to backup or dump the files. I used this one because it was the simplist one I could find and could get to work, but now I may be regreting it.

I guess the best question to ask would be, whats the best emulator out there? I have seen a few on this site, antrix, mangos..... What has alot of community support so I can continue to update the server (with patches) without losing charecters.

    Thanks
