Is it possible to run a dedicated off a website

its possible to put the files on the site but unless you have remote access you have no way to start the server

ok lets say i have a dedicated source server and i upload all the files to a site how do i start it?

You would call the host and tell them to click the two servers, i believe the lowland realms once did this.

i wonder if they actually would start them, i wouldnt think they would

they wouldn't, their servers were only built to handle web hosting, i really dont think you'll get the most out of it even if they did let you run the server.
