    Small Problem?

Hello everyone ! I was hosting a tiny server for me and my friends for awhile, just using an AC-WEB pack where all you have to do is change a couple of values to get it online. Now, I've installed MySQL and messed up, so I un-installed it. Now whenever I try to make a new server in there (Named Root) I can NEVER get past the step labeled "Start up MySQL" it always gives me an error. My question is this, is there a way to still add SQLs without MySQL? Right now, i don't have anything downloaded or on my computer, so any help would be appreciated.

    ~Thanks in advance, Llamma

well you have to have MySQL because MySQL is a type of database server that is needed in orde for it to work, hit control+alt+del and go to your processes and look for one called mysql-nt.exe and if its there, end it

It happens during the Server instance Config Wizard, it happens on the step labeled "Start Service" and give me this error message :

The security settings could not be applied to the database because the connection has failed because of the following error:

    Error Nr. 1045

Access denied for user 'root'@localhost (using password:NO)

It give me 2 scenarios on what it COULD be but its not either of those.

I tried that and it still does not work. Is there a way to delete ALL trace of it from my computer? I Think i need to fully get rid of it, then try it again. Unless there is another good program that does the same thing as MySQL?

I've had the same problem before, you need to open up the MySQL folder (after you un-install) DELETE IT, then re-install and reconfigure your settings...this should work
