    [Advice] Standalone MySQL/Apache/database

    Im planning a repack, the best repacks Ive seen have MySQL and Apache built into the release, so that all the user has to do is start the batch files and everything starts running, including the modified database.

    Are there any good threads that detail setting this up? Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    Many thanks.

    Its alot of work to set such system up,

    was using a whole night, configuring it to work to
    my release hehe.

    it has:

    *web register page
    * sql server
    * apache server

    just to start mysql, apache and a ascent restarter

    yes but for some people its a problem, because they might already have mysql installed and also it would make the file size ALOT bigger.

    I have 3 different kinds of MySQL server installed, Im smart enough to only run one at once.

    The file size is only going to be a problem when I come to upload it, it's negligible for people downloading, and it's less effort letting something download an extra 20 minutes, rather than needing 3 days of sweat and tears to set up a database and core and fail.

    Just my 2cs.
