Is ascent really the best?

Ok, since I've been experiencing some big roadblocks in ascent such as the player level cap being limited to 70, and no longer determined by the conf file but by the console itself...

I have to wonder if theres a better emulator out there that can return the pleasures of our old antrix servers...though with ascent's stability..

I cant even go into my conf file and change the playerupdate distance anymore to avoid my gameobjects disappearing within my custom cities and such...

If anyone knows how to fix these (priority is the gameobject update distance)
do let me know...

Or if you know of a better emulator to run off of...which i doubt there is one out there, let me know about that as well >.>

otherwise, i wish ascent would return the control to the conf files, though it may not be that easy, it would be very convenient. I'd do it myself if i knew how

I modded the GenLevelCap AND LevelCap in ascent.conf and it raised my cap >.<
