Id recommend the latest stable NCDB edition, you can get it here:

    http://www.mmowned.com/forums/emulat...requently.html

Its the best blizz-like starter server, after you have that you can start adding your own custom areas/mobs/items etc.

Best of luck! And keep us updated

Also, Viter linked the latest NCDB revision, which you might want to take a look at :

Filebeam - Free Fast File Hosting

OK, no problem, I think its rev 705, Im guessing its the latest as it just says so on Viter's repack thread:

    http://www.mmowned.com/forums/emulat...-compiles.html

Im going to be looking at rev 705 for the funcore release, Id still suggest using the milestone revision, Ive used it before and it's really good.

Well, scratch that idea, I cant get the latest accounts.sql from Viter working, and rev 705 NCDB doesnt come with accounts built in.

Basically a 'milestone' release is when the devs are happy with everything they have added, and they draw a line under it. Any revision made after the milestone has a number added to it (this case 705) so that anyone else involved in the project knows what stage the build is up to.

When the current revisions are at a point where everything has been added that they are happy with, they will release another milestone, then make revisions to that.

Its just the way things are made.

Actual differences however, like a changelog from the milestone to rev 705, I dont know, Im going to try and find the NCDB official site after lunch.
