Help with Database

Hi,
I ve a problem with my database... so i ll tell you the whole story!

I downloaded a repack with ascent rev. 1700 (sth. like that) about 2 months ago. everything worked great, i added some custom stuff and mad my own things (like a mall etc.). Then i left it alone until a few days ago! Now i downloaded the latest stable ascentcore (2.4) and NCDB Milestone (0.2.3) with SVN and set it up! Everything worked great until i want to have my old custom stuff on my new server! Thats my problem!

My Question is: How to get the old custom stuff in the new NCDB?

I ve already used the DB updates in the ascent SVN to my old DB. Logonserver.exe and ascent.exe worked and i could connect but if i want to load my game after selecting the character it does not go on! (AND I dont have the new WoW Patch 2.3 Stuff in my DB!)

I hope you guys can help me!

that error ocurred because of the database the character tables are not corresponding to the core if i understood right if not the other thing that i understand of your post is that you ascent is for supporting version 2.3 and you dont have the patch so downloading the 2.3 patch may be the problem also try to download or use the ad.exe for the new 2.3 maps that may also be the prob

But!

i ve already tested my server with the new core (ascent-version 2.4, NCDB-version 0.2.3) with my WoW (version 2.3) and it worked great! (maps are extracted from WoW version 2.3). So that cannot be the problem!

I can play it already, but without my custom stuff!

The point is that i dont know how to get my old custom stuff in the new DB (NCDB 0.2.3)

ooo you just need to execute a query or an easy way justo copy and paste in you new database that is how i done mine

Oke,
i already tried this, but the column-titles are different (e.g. entry instead of entry_id)! and he gives me the error with duplicated entry.....

different column-titles: problem fixed! because i updated my old DB with the sql-updates in the ascent SVN (you know what i mean???)

duplicated entry error: i forgot to say that i only have the whole old DB and cant remember everything i changed! so i havnt a sql with my custom stuff!^^

mmm then just update qith the sql files your antique DB and relace everything or if u are using navicat you just need to drop lets say items table and executing a batch file of the already upgraded antique version tell me if you dont get it its dificult to explain

but if i drop the item database of NCDB i loose the new items of patch wow 2.3.

I need a programm or sth. that just add the files which are not yet in the new DB and dont drop everything!
Oke, i mean if it has the entry "60000" the programm looks: ohh it isnt there yet , so i add it! Now entry "27392": already there! i ve to ignore it!

no im not german im mexican and well the easiest thing to do that is an .sql querry but i dont know anything of .sql so you can just find the custon things you really like and remember and add only those

I'd say to remake the stuff, with all the database updates from revision 1700 to 2400-2500, its pretty much impossible to copy paste it. Yeah just remake your stuff =D
