Empty Map Folder

Allright i read a few tutorials and guides on how to get the map files
so i downloaded the ad_engb.exe put it in my WoW folder made a folder called maps

sat through it extracting everything just to see at the end of it my maps folder was still empty

so after googling my ass off trying to find a soloution i also found a few people are having the same issue and its only with engb (my game was baught in the uk so i know im using the right file)

Any soloutions or ideas on how to get this working or is their any maps knocking around for 2.3

id really appreciate any help or pointers you could give me
