[Guide]How to not getting flamed/How to post a help topic

well since i see sooooo much posts wich even emu experts can't help with becuz of the missing details, i thought lets make something like this

1st Rule: make sure you followed guides!
Yes ! simple, if you have followed a guide here and you still have problems, read the guide again and again till you know you followed all steps correctly!

2nd Rule: use search button


Yes use search button! a lot of problems have been solved already, all i see is 100 posts with the same problem! Search button = gold on a forum!

3th Rule: Asking question? be detailed !

If you ask a question, tell us exacly what you want! Not like: How to make an NPC? BUT => How do i make an npc that sells items?
cuz there is a HUGE difference between vendors and trainers for example!

4th Rule: Having problems? be detailed!

When you have problems give us as much info as possible! Post your config files, the exact error message, error details, whatever you can!
cuz things like: hey my ascent server crashes, how to fix?
we can't help with! we need details!
NOTE: check this topic before making a new one also! TOPIC LINK

5th Rule: Do NOT steal credit/Give credits !!!
this is one of the most important rules on this forum !!! do not steal stuff that someoen else made ! give credits when you copied it! If we catch you stealing credits or not givin you will be reported and probably punished by the staff!

6th Rule: Do NOT repost stuff!
When you make a topic be sure that there is no topic like the one you gonna make!!! (how? use search!) and when you finally made a topic do not post the same topic 3 times or something! This makes life easier on a community for all of us !

7th Rule: Do NOT spam !
yes i know you have to get a number of posts for some stuff, but do not SPAM threads with things like 'qdskmfjq' !!
Note: you will probably get flamed if you do and punished by the staff!

8th Rule: Do NOT beg for reputation!
Some people have fun asking for reputation in all of their topics, DONT do that people will probably ignore you or flame at you if you do
Don't try to send PMs to other members asking for reputation, they can report you and then you will be punished!
