    [Questions] Mangos VS Ascent

Recently i sat down, and decided to start working on something that interested me. Programming. I started a Mangos server in hopes of making a great server that would be popular. Now ive come to a crossroad and i need help making a decision. I'm still completely noob at this.

[I know Ascent is more up to date, but heres the stuff that i would need help on]

    FIRST OFF:
Is there a way to take what i have already edited on mangos and transfer it to an Ascent server?

    SECOND:
In my current mangos folder, i see no scripts folder. Is this normal? Is there a way to fix it?

    THIRD:
I see very few guides for mangos, and all around i think it would be easier to make and manage an ascent server. DO y'all think this is a true statement?

    FINALLY
For y'all that use ascent... whats your favorite repack?

I'd really, REALLY appreciate the help. Im taking this very seriously, i find it fun and a nice way to spend my time because this should come in handy in the future; programming that is.

I also know im a "leecher" but as soon as i learn more, i'll be able to contribute more. I really want to script boss fights anyways

    1) Not really, there is an scp to sql converter but it only does items (in old format) so you will have to do it manually

    2) dunno
    3) Ascent is harder (but thats what i think of it)
    4) Chrispee's repacks cus i helped him with them ^^

But ascent is definitly more stable than mangos, but mangos is easyer to edit.

It just seems like it would be easier because theres so many more guides.
Also i cant add any SQL files to my navicat, im guessing its because my mangos is outdated... Is there some other reason?

    MANGOS\DB\data - I see a scriptdev2 but theres MYD files in there.

put them in MySQL folder in program files:

    Example: C:\Program Files\MySQL\Data\scripts\
