so yea apahce is installed as a service now and is running and the files are in htdocs.....now what install.php still wont work. When you say http://yoursite.com/install.php wouldnt you mean something like C:\xampp\htdocs\install.php? Cuz that wont work I get this when i do that

did you do it exactly like http://your server/install.php??

if that dont work copy your xampp folder to C:/

ok it worked now whats the password for admins panel?

check your folder its in setup/eng.php or its in the install

it says the username is admin and pass is admin but when i type those and tryand log in it just refreshes the page any ideas?

ok what you do is where it say $lang['securitylevel']='HIGH'; set it to LOW
see if that works
