Problem: Level 70 Cap?

I set my Ascent.conf max level 254 and when i start up server and go on a character and type .level 254 or .level 255 it just levels me to 70 and if i try to downlevel it stays at 70. Any suggestions?

it will only set you to 70, they removed the possible to level
over 70 on the newest revs

Burlow did remove the possible to go over 70 because he HATE
funserver. he has said that many times in ascentemu.com btw.

and no, if you want to use 2.3.0 you must have
ascent rev 2335 or higher, and its not possible
to go over lvl 70, even with the command the person over me said.

Burlow, one of the ascent developers dont like fun servers,
and he wants ascent to be used in Blizzlike servers.

then you are 255lvl...

i tryed that in 2267...
it saved successfully,
BUT when i logged in, ascent downed it to
70 again. so sorry to dissappoint you,
it isnt THAT easy anymore

as i said: ascent developers does EVERYTHING
to stop funserver stuff. Burlow hates funserver so much
that he always only talk shit to ppl asking bout it
